Srinagar, May 25: (GNS) Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh has announced a special relief of rupees 44.10 lac to 882 police personnel getting infected by Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir. The relief amount has been sanctioned out of ‘Police Pariwar’ fund.
Making it public, Jammu and Kashmir Police, as per news agency GNS, on its official Twitter handle wrote; “Director General of Police, J&K Shri Dilbag Singh has sanctioned Rs 44.10 lakh as special relief in favour of 882 police personnel who had got infected by the #COVID19.The amount has been sanctioned out of Police Pariwar Fund through 2 different orders.”
“Under these orders, Rs 5,000 each has been sanctioned in favour of these affected police personnel. The move is part of the assistance provided by the Police Department to personnel affected by #COVID19, since the outbreak of the pandemic last year”, read another tweet. (GNS)
