7 Minors, 3 Soldiers Among 308 New Covid-19 Cases In J&K

Srinagar, Dec 22(GNS): Fourteen travelers, seven minors and three soldiers were among 308 new covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.

Among them, they said, 174 are from Jammu Division and 134 from Kashmir Valley.

Also six COVID-19 deaths have been reported—five from Jammu Division and one from Kashmir Valley.
Giving district wise details, they said Srinagar reported 65 cases, Baramulla 14, Budgam 21, Kupwara 2, Pulwama 12, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 7, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 4, Shopian 1, Jammu 99, Udhampur 14, Rajouri 10, Doda 6, Kathua 7, Kishtwar 6, Samba 14, Poonch 2, Ramban 0 and Reasi 16.

A number of these cases were confirmed at SKIMS Soura, CD hospital and GMC Anantnag and include among others three cases from army’s BB Cantt and seven minors.

The GMC Anantnag cases include male (45) from Litter Pulwama, two females (25, 21) from Iqbal Market, male (29) from 116 Bn Crpf Pahalgam, two females (50, 25) and male (28) from Arigutnoo.

The CD cases include male (30) from Mehjoor Nagar, male (40) from Buchpora, female (60) from Habak, two males (30, 45) from Lal Bazar, male (05) from Elahibagh, two females (50, 25) from Baghi Ali Mardan, female (61) from NA, male (27) from GMC Boys Hostel Srg, male (63) from Zadibal, female (18) from Wagoora Budgam, male (40) from Mallabagh Srg, male (62) from Bemina Srg, two males (NA, 32) from Mander Bagh Srinagar, male (30) from Batapora Srg, male (NA) from Srinagar, female (60) from Hajin, male (40) from Chadoora, male (38) from Shopian, male (59) from Pulwama, female (40) from Chanapora, female (65) from Handwara, male (75) from Kupwara, female (67) from Srinagar, female (08) from Fateh Kadal, male (25) from Soura, two females (29, 55) from Eidgah, female (63) from Srinagar, female (65) from Shopian, two males (69, 15) from Saderbal, male (67) from Lal Bazar Umer Colony, male (45) from Saderbal, male (43) from Arabal Shalimar, male (63) from Mohalla Syed Afzal Zadibal, three females (14, 13, 06) from Lal Bazar, male (21) from Makdoom Sahib, male (50) and two females (09, 45) from Nalbal, two females (11, 06) from Hawal, male (26) from Saderbal, male (42) from Pattan, male (62) from Rajbagh, male (54) from Chanapora, male (42) from Saderbal, female (23) from Baghi Mehtab, two females (60, 36) from Rajbagh, female (41) from Qamarwari, three males (26, 40, 26) from BB Cantt, male (52) from Kawoosa, male (NA) from Bandipayeen, female (55) from Kangan, male (37) from Bemina, female (35) from Amlar, male (14) from Poshwan, female (12) from Amlar, three females (09, 44, 43) from K Koot, male (08) from Mirzapora Chersoo, female (14) from Amlar, male (20) from Sahara City Centre, two males (25, 26) from Nirman Complex, male (50) from Kishtwar, male (85) from Sopore, female (80) from Kupwara Batapora, male (NA) from Kulgam, female (60) from Khanmoh, female (20) from Gilkadal, male (15) from Batamaloo, female (35) from Peerbagh, six females (15, 30, 55, 80, 38, 52) from Rajbagh, male (06) from Buchpora.

The Srinagar cases include male (17) from Lal Chowk, male (28) from Rawalpora, male (42) from Alochibagh, male (58) from Soura, female (25) from Shivpora, female (31) from Nowshera, male (70) from Buchpora, male (12) from Rangpora, male (29) from Nowshera, female (55) from Buchpora, male (55) from Gulabagh, male (39) from Lal Bazar, female (32) from Lal Bazar, male (59) from Lal Bazar, female (60) from Lal Bazar, female (70) from Lal Bazar, male (92) from Baghat, male (55) from Soura, female (60) from Soura, female (45) from Saidakadal, male (34) from Lal Bazar Srinagar.

The Shopian cases include female (75) from Zainapora Shopian.

The Bandipora cases include female (60) from Kunan, male (55) from Nasbal Bandipora.
The Baramulla cases include female (81) from Jatti Baramulla.

The Ganderbal cases include female (25) from Banhama, male (61) from Kangan Ganderbal.

The Jammu cases include male (30) from Kujwani Jammu.

Moreover, they said, 281 more COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—111 from Jammu Division and 170 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
