5 Soldiers, Cop Among 232 New Covid-19 Cases in J&K, total118495

Srinagar, Dec 21 (GNS): Thirty-five travelers and 5 soldiers besides a policeman were among 232 new covid-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours, taking the overall count to 118495.

Among these cases, 129 were reported from Jammu Division and 103 from Kashmir Valley, the officials said on Monday. Three COVID-19 deaths were also reported—one from Jammu Division and two from Kashmir Valley.

Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 36 cases, Baramulla 9, Budgam 10, Kupwara 15,

Pulwama 18, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 2, Shopian 4, Jammu 97, Udhampur 8,

Rajouri 2, Doda 2, Kathua 9, Kishtwar 0, Samba 2, Poonch 3, Ramban 0 and Reasi 6.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic labouratories of SKIMS Soura, CD and GMC Anantnag hospitals.
The GMC Anantnag cases include male (31) from Police Station Keller, two females (45, 24) and male (45) from Iqbalabad Anantnag, male (60) from Bragam, male (18) from K B Pora, male (15) from Hallan, female (60) from Diver.

The CD cases include four females (54, 54, 22, 28) and male (75) from Batwara, male (73) from Pandrethan, female (38) from Rainawari, female (25) from Alochibagh, female (56) and male (60) from Nowhatta, female (24) from Nishat, male (48) from Indranagar, female (23) from Bemina, male (38) from Chanapora, six females (45, 24, 28, 35, 40,78) and two males (38, 16) from Baghi Mehtab, male (45) from Baghat, male (61) and two females (52, 29) from Chanapora, female (28) from Rawalpora, five males (29, 33, 43, 30, 46) from BB Cantt, female (65) from Dewar Tral, female (70) from Tral, female (70) from Budgam, female (62) from Harwan Srg, female (60) from Kanihama Budgam, female (75) from Qamarwari Srg, male (65) from Kupwara, female (25) from Tangmarg Baramulla, female (65) from Khansahib Budgam, female (60) from Khag Budgam, male (33) and three females (NA, 27, 27) from Baghat Barzulla, female (13) from Shalimar, two females (50, 27) from Ishber Nishat, two males (44, 27) and female (42) from Shalimar, male (26) from Batapora, male (57) from Harwan, female (38) from Rainawari, female (38) from Habak, female (52) and male (69) from Umer Colony, male (50) from Tailbal, female (30) from Drabgam, male (44) and female (44) from Rawalpora Srg, male (45) from Soura Srg, three males (58, 68, 65) and female (62) from NA, two males (31, 30) from Kadalbal Pampore, male (62) from Kandizal, female (65) from Drangbal Pampore, male (45) from Kadalbal Pampore, male (25) from Srinagar, female (NA) and male (25) from Malaratta Srg, female (56) from HMT, male (56) from Zainakote Srg, male (28) from Kralpora Budgam, male (25) from Bemina Srg, male (60) from Chadoora Budgam, male (NA) from Hawal Srg, female (27) from Srinagar, female (40) from Natipora, male (32) from Dalgate, male (33) from Zaldagar, two males (33, 35) and two females (36, 28) from Mandir Bagh, male (58) and female (28) from Nawabazar, male (55) from Safakadal, male (30) from Illahibagh, female (55) from Nawabazar, female (24) from Pulwama, male (75) from Nowgam Natipora, female (24) and male (25) from Himaliya Motors, male (68) and female (24) from Hyderpora, male (50) and female (47) from Eidgah, female (60) from Illahibagh, two females (32, 18) from Hawal, male (62) from Lal Bazar, female (74) from Habak, two males (35, 28) and female (50) from Hawal, female (38) from Amda Kadal, male (60) from Hyderpora Srinagar.

The Budgam cases include male (25) from Watakulu, female (35) from Wanbal Nowgam, male (65) from Gogo Humhama, female (64) from Baghi Mehtab, male (37) from Shanker Pora Nowgam, male (70) from Baghi Mehtab, male (60) from Daulatpora Chadoora, female (18) from Wadipora Chadoora, female (35) from Sugen Khag, male (32) from Panziyara Khag, female (28) from Beerwah Budgam, male (40) from Chewdara Beerwah, male (65) from Peth Makhama Budgam, female (69) from Narbal Budgam.

The Srinagar cases include male (85) from Lal Bazar, female (60) from Buchpora, two males (58, 32) from Soura, male (24) from Botakadal, male (55) from Soura, male (21) from Hawal, male (78) from Fatehkadal, male (42) from Soura, female (65) from Nowshera, female (48) from Botakadal, male (63) from Srinagar.

Moreover, they said, 458 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 192 from Jammu Division and 266 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
