Srinagar, Jun 19 (GNS): A 19-year-old youth drowned while taking bath in a pond at Ranipora in Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
Reports reaching GNS said that the youth identified as Rahil Ahmad Shiekh son of Nazir Ahmad Shiekh of Ranipora of Achabal drowned in the pond at Cxohur.A police official told GNS said that the youth drowned while taking a bath.
“We have retrieved the body and handed it over to the family for the last rites after medico-legal formalities,” the official said. (GNS)
