Srinagar, May 20: (GNS) A pharmaceutical shop here in Bemina caught fire on Thursday evening, causing substantial damage to the commodities stocked in the shop, eyewitnesses said.
They said that the fire broke out this evening and soon after took a major part of the structure in its control. The blaze was subdued after arrival of fire tenders, however not before it causing substantial damage to the stocked paraphernalia including PPE and medicines, they told GNS.
An F&ES official confirming the incident to GNS said that the fire incident took place near ‘Sharjah Ground’ in Bemina locality this evening. “The structure besides the stock has got substantially damaged in the incident”, the official said. (GNS)
