Srinagar, May 13 (GNS): Authorities on Wednesday suspended mobile internet in Budgam district after killing of a civilian in firing by CRPF allegedly after he jumped couple of nakkas set up by the paramilitary forces.
Official sources said that the step has been taken as a precautionary measure to maintain “law and order” situation.
Meanwhile, mobile internet remained barred in Shopian and Pulwama district following the killing of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant commander Riyaz Naikoo along with his associate in Beighpora area of Awantipora on May 6 last. (GNs)
