Srinagar, Oct 19 (GNS): A 6-year-old boy drowned to death after falling into a water-filled pit in Sulkoot in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that Mohammad Musa, 5, son of Abdul Qayoom Payer was playing with children near an under construction building of Womens Degree College Salkote, when the incident occurred. The child was evacuated by Fire and Emergency Services Department and rushed to nearby hospital, where the doctors however declared him as brought dead on arrival.
Meanwhile a police official has confirmed to GNS about the occurrence of the incident. (GNS)
