Srinagar, Aug 13: As part of Independence Day celebrations, Railway authorities have illuminated its major stations falling under Firozpur division with decorative lights for ten days. The illumination of stations which started on August 10 itself will culminate on August 20.
As per an official, these stations include, Srinagar, Katra, Jammu -Tawi, Pathankot, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Firozpur among others.
The one of a unique move to attract the viewers, amid COVID19 onslaught, was taken under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager, Rajesh Agarwal.
