Srinagar, May 3 (GNS): A person died on the spot while as another person was injured in a road mishap at Turkipora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday.
Reports reaching GNS said that today at about 3:00 pm one vehicle Maruti 800 bearing registration No JK15: 3734 driven by Mushtaq Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Hassan of Warnoo Kupwara lost control over the vehicle. “In the mishap, the vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down near Turkpora resulting on the spot death of one Abdul Kareem Gojer son of Mustufa Gojer of Trukpora Bandipora and driver Mushtaq Ahmad injured seriously.
A police officer also confirmed the death in the mishap and said that the injured has been hospitalized.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection,” the officer said. (GNS)
