Kupwara, May 9: (GNS) Management Jamia Masjid Markazi Auqaf Islamia Lalpora has Sunday rescheduled Eid prayer timing in view of alarming COVID scenario.
An Auqaf member told news agency Global News Service (GNS) that the decision was unanimously taken by the management after taking into consideration the situation created out of Covid-19 pandemic.
Notifying the re-scheduled timing, the Auqaf member said that the prayer timing has been preponed from 9 AM to 7:30 AM.
The management has in the meantime asked people, intended to attend Eid prayers, to adhere to Covid-appropriate behavior by putting masks besides giving due regard to social-distancing norms on the eve. (GNS)
