Srinagar, November 08:(GNS) Two militant associates along with a hybrid militant was arrested by police in Cheradari encounter case in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
In a statement to GNS, the police said that During the course of investigation of case FIR No.232/21 u/s 307 IPC 7/27 A Act into the encounter post attack on ADP in last week of October, Baramulla police zeroed in on some suspects which came to fore during investigation.
In furtherance thereof, today a joint party of forces arrested two militant associates and a hybrid militant. They have been identified as Asgar Majeed Lone son of Ab Majeed resident of Gulshanabad Azadgunj (hybrid militant), Asif Ganie son of Gh. Rasool resident of Bagh e Islam Baramulla and Faizan Rasool Gojri son of Gh Rasool resident of Syeed Kareem Baramulla, they said.
On the basis of disclosures of the associates, especially those of Asgar Majeed, joint forces party recovered one grenade and 24 rounds of AK-47. Further investigations are underway, reads the statement.(GNS)
