Srinagar, Sept 30 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday suspended a former Storekeeper, Office of BDO, Barnoti, pending enquiry into his conduct. The suspended official is presently posted as Senior Assistant in the office of Assistant Soil Conservation Officer in Sarore of District Samba.
An order in this regard, of which a copy lies with GNS, reads that “Pending enquiry into his conduct, Mr. Mohinder Singh, the then Storekeeper, Office of BDO, Barnoti, presently posted as Senior Assistant in the office of Assistant Soil Conservation Officer, Sarore, District Samba, is hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules 1956 (sic.).”
During the period of his suspension, he shall remain attached in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, the order reads further. (GNS)
