Srinagar, Dec 31 (GNS): A goldsmith who shot dead in Sairabala area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday, officials said.
A senior police officer told GNS that militants fired upon Goldsmith namely Satpal Nichal in Saraibala, injuring him critically this evening. He was shifted to nearby SMHS hospital. Dr Nazir Choudhary, the medical superintendent at SMHS, told GNS that the goldsmith was brought dead.
Soon after the attack, the whole area, one of the busiest in Srinagar, was cordoned off to nab the attackers, the officer added. (GNS).
