One person receives head injuries

Poonch, May 6: (GNS) At least two persons were injured in a tyre burst incident in Bhatadhurian area in Poonch district on Thursday evening.
Reports reaching Srinagar-based news agency Global News Service (GNS) that the duo were refilling a tyre when all of a sudden it burst causing them injuries.
The injured duo has been identified as Zaffar Iqbal son of Mohammad Nissar (26) and Mohammad Khursheed son of Feroz Din (30) both residents of village Jarawali Gali.
Zaffar with severe right arm injury and Khursheed with head injury were immediately evacuated to Government Primary Health center Bhatadhurian and on administration of first-aid were referred to Government Medical College Rajouri for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile Block Medical Officer Mendhar Dr Parviaz Ahmad Khan confirming the incident told GNS that the duo is currently undergoing treatment at GMC Rajouri. “Nothing more can be said about the condition of any of the injured as of now”, the official said. (GNS)
