Jammu | Kashmir: Director General of Police J&K, R.R. Swain decorated the newly promoted IPS officers Shri S Anand Jain and Nitish Kumar with ADGP rank in a piping ceremony held at Police Headquarters on Friday.
ADGP (Hqrs/Coord.) PHQ M.K Sinha was present on the occasion.
The DGP J&K congratulated the officers and their families and expressed hope that they will continue to work with the same zeal and dedication for the department and for the people. He wished them good luck for their future endeavors.
Both the IPS officers have held very important posts. Shri Anand Jain has served as SDPO Ganderbal, SP East Srinagar, I/C SP Baramulla, SSP Baramulla, AIG (prov/Tpt.) PHQ, SSP Reasi, SSP Rajouri, SSP Jammu,CO-IRP-15th Bn. SSP Baramulla, IGP Hqrs. PHQ, Director Anti Corruption Bureau J&K. The officer is presently posted as IGP Jammu. While as Shri Nitish Kumar has served as SDPO Nowshera, SDPO Gandhi Nagar, SP South Srinagar, SP Handwara, SP Pulwama, SSP Anantnag, AIG (CIV) PHQ, DIG SKR Anantnag, DIG NKR Baramulla, IGP Technical Services J&K. The officer is presently posted as IGP CID J&K. (GNS)
