Srinagar, Apr 27 (GNS): A power transformer at Bagh-e-Mehtab area of Srinagar damaged two days ago has not been repaired yet, with locals saying it is making them suffer in the holy month of Ramadhan.
The 6.3MVA transformer at Receiving Grid supplies electricity to various localities including Bagh-e-Mehtab, Manchowa, Gulzarpora, Kralapora and Wathoora.
“We will try our best,” an official at the grid station said, adding that it will take around 48 hours to repair the transformer or get it replaced with a new one. (GNS)
