Poonch, Jun 5: (GNS) A high intensity cloudburst has hit upper reaches of Dingla area on Friday evening of frontier Poonch district in Jammu division.
Reports reaching GNS said that, the cloudburst triggered flashfloods in Thaan Peer Ziarat Sathra of the district resulting in severe damage to houses and roads.
Two motorcycles, a car including the main link road to upper Dingla was also washed away in the incident, reports said.
Meanwhile, the flash-floods have entered several houses in Sanghla Chowk of Mendhar causing panic among the local populace, reports added.
SHO Poonch Nishant Gupta confirming the incident to GNS said that, a team has been deputed to evacuate the people to safer places. (GNS)
