Budgam, May 9 (GNS): A sexagenarian man has gone missing in this central Kashmir district and his family fears that he might have drowned while fishing in Doodganga River.
Official sources told GNS that Ghulam Hassan Wani (68), a resident of wathoora Budgam is missing since 7 a.m. on Friday.
According to his family, he left home along with a dustbin to be dumped usually by him along the riverside. The man is fond of fishing near riverside of Doodganga, the family said. They said there was ‘slip-like’ mark near the riverside while fishing rode was lying there. Police and locals including those extracting sand were searching his body and when this report filed searches were going on, they added. (GNS)
