Srinagar, April 16 (GNS): Body of a woman was recovered by police from a stream in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
Reports reaching GNS said that a police team recovered body of a woman from a nallah after locals spotted today afternoon. The deceased, a resident of Waterhal village was said to be mentally unsound.
A police official told GNS that after medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family for last rites.
“A case under 174 CrPc has been registered and further investigations taken up,” the officer said. (GNS)
