Srinagar, May 6 (GNS): The government has ordered fire safety and metical audit of all covid-19 hospitals in Jammu division.
In a communication to all Deputy Commissioners/ chairman, DDMA’S, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Raghav Langer has sought compliance by May 7.
“As you are aware that in view of the present Covid-19 pandemic situation, various Hospitals and Covid Care Centers have been dedicated for the management of Covid-19 patients and oxygen generation plants, Manifolds, other Mechanical systems and dedicated Feeders are functioning round the clock in these Covid Hospitals,” reads the communication, a copy of which lies with GNS.
“As such you are directed to constitute joints teams and get the Fire Safety, Power Supply, Mechanical Systems audit of these hospitals conducted on priority and corrective action to be accordingly undertaken without any delay.”
The District Administration have been asked to ensure provision for power backup, necessary repairs and buffer transformers etc. at each of these sites
“Compliance report in this regard should reach this office by 10.00 am on 07-05-2021.” (GNS)
