8 soldiers among 369 fresh covid-19 cases in J&K, total 114407

Srinagar, Dec 9 (GNS): Eight soldiers and as many travelers were among 369 new novel coronavirus cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday. 

190 of these cases were from Jammu Division while 179 were from Kashmir Valley and it took the total number of people infected with the virus to 114407 in J&K, the officials told GNS.

 Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 86 cases, Baramulla 19, Budgam 19, Kupwara 12, Pulwama 13, Anantnag 8, Bandipora 4, Ganderbal 10, Kulgam 4, Shopian 4, Jammu 89, Udhampur 27, Rajouri 12, Doda 12, Kathua 24, Kishtwar 5, Samba 8, Poonch 1, Ramban 7 and Reasi 5.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic labouratories of CD and SKIMS Soura hospitals, the officials said.

The CD cases include male (64) from Sanatnagar, male (NA) from Anantnag, female (30) from Natipora, male (65) from Zainakadal Srg, female (65) from Chattabal Srg, female (55) and male (NA) from Budgam, female (44) from Parraypora, male (39) from Soura, male (35) from Umer Colony, female (16) and male (55) from Alamdar Colony, female (38) from Botakadal Lal Bazar, male (24) from Peerbagh, male (45) from Lal Bazar, female (10) from Soura, female (37) from Buchpora, male (35) from Zoonimar, male (55) from Nowshera, female (21) and two males (21, 21) from Wave Classes Hyderpora, male (40) from Lal Bazar, female (43) from Lal Bazar, female (65) from Brenwar, male (35) from Naid Kadal, male (29) from Batwara, male (35) from Anantnag, mfemale (40) from Rawalpora, male (58) from Nowshera, female (75) from Barbarshah, NA (25) from Naik Bagh, male (22) from Lal Chowk, male (57) from Rawalpora, female (32) from Eidgah, female (35) from Alochibagh, male (36) and female (20) from Rajbagh, male (40) from Gogjibagh, male (18) from Shopian, female (45) and male (43) from Hyderpora, male (32) from Bemina, male (80) from Kudara Bandipora, two females (30, 60) and male (32) from Soura, male (45) from Dalgate, female (40) from Kupwara, male (49) from Peerbagh, eigh males (39, 44, 26, 49, 28, 40, 33, 44) from BB Cantt, male (30) from Ikhrajpora, female (30) from Arihal, male (67) from Bemina, male (33) from Qamarwari, female (60) from Chadoora Budgam, male (60) from Hyderpora Srg, female (45) from Wanbal Rawalpora, female (80) from Illahibagh, four females (55, 21, 23, 25) and male (60) from Sarafkadal, female (60) from Qamarwari, female (55) from Bemina, female (70) from HMT, female (54) from Anantnag, four females (21, 21, 21, 21) from Wave Classes Hyderpora, female (55) from Barzulla, female (30) from Pakharpora Budgam, two females (70, 55) from Bandipora, male (80) from Rainawari, female (33) from Baramulla.

The Srinagar cases include male (36) from Soura, male (41) from Buchpora, male (52) from Press Colony, four males (32, 33, 60, 02) and female (30) from Elahibagh, two males (47, 72) from Gulab Bagh, male (41) from Lal Bazar, male (27) from Safakadal, male (60) from Hawal, male (48) from Botakadal, male (75) and female (70) from Lal Bazar, male (85) from Lal Bazar Srinagar.

The Kupwara cases include female (50) from Reshampora Kupwara.

The Budgam cases include female (70) from Motipather Budgam.

The Anantnag cases include male (55) from Qazigund Anantnag.

The Ganderbal cases include male (65) from Kangan Ganderbal.

The Doda cases include female (46) from Iqbal Abad Doda.

The Rajouri cases include male (48) from NA Rajouri.

The Baramulla cases include female (42) Tangmarg, female (49) from Yarbugh Baramulla.

Moreover, they said, 342 more COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 156 from Jammu Division and 186 from the Valley. (GNS)
