Srinagar, Feb 25 (GNS): Thirty-seven travellers were 108 new covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the pestilence in the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Thursday.
They said that 31 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu and 77 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total case tally to 126201.
Giving the district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 47 cases, Baramulla 7,
Budgam 6, Pulwama 3, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 4, Shopian 1, Jammu 8, Udhampur 23, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag.
The SKIMS cases include female (27) from Barzulla, male (30) from Barzulla, male (29) from Karanagar Sgr, female (65) from Bhagatee shoora sgr, female (65) from Soura sgr, female (35) from Soura, female (55) from Zainakadal, female (02) from Arshipora Shopian, male (30) from Bemina Sgr.
The GMC Anantnag cases include female (82) from Banihal, male (34) from Shangus Anantnag.
Out of 126201 cases, they said, 820 are active while 123426 recovered while 1955 have died—725 in Jammu and 1230 in Kashmir.
Moreover, the official told GNS, that 59 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—11 from Jammu Division and 48 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
