227 New Covid-19 Cases In J&K, Tally Rises To 8246

40 CRPF Men, 5 Pregnant Women Among Fresh Infections, 68 Patients More Discharged

Srinagar, July 4: Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reported 227 new covid-19 infections on Saturday, including at least 40 CRPF men and five pregnant women, taking the total number of the cases in J&K to 8246.

Sources said that 30 were confirmed from Jammu division and 197 from Kashmir Division.
Giving the district wise break of the cases, sources told GNS that 57 were reported from Baramulla, Shopian 46, Srinagar 33, Budgam 26, Pulwama 17, Jammu 12, Samba 10,
Kulgam 2, Kupwara seven, Bandipora five, four each in Anantnag and Rajouri, Udhampur 2 and one each in Poonch and Doda.

Dr. G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer Coronavirus Control Measures at SKIMS Soura told GNS that out of the 1883 samples were processed at the viral diagnostic laboratory of the hospital, 85 returned positive for the virus.

Professor Farooq Jan, Medical Superintendent SKIMS Soura, told among them 40 are from CRPF Battalions, 14 from Pulwama, 13 from Shopian, six from Srinagar, three from Baramulla, two each from Anantnag, Kulgam, Bandipora and Rajouri besides one from Kupwara.

The Pulwama cases include female (34) from Barsoo, Male (39) from Dangerpora, two Males (40, 29) from Tahab, two males (35, 18) and female (35) from Tiken , two males (25, 48) from Dangerpora Arihal, Male (35) from Naira, two males (30, 55) from Arihal, male (27) from Kalampora, female (33) from Batmaran and female (30) from Qasba Yar Pulwama.

The 13 cases from Shopian include male (32) from Khurrampora, seven males (60, 30, 28, 22, 22,15, 20) from Sugan, male (37) from Kadgam, male (27) from Reasi, two males (60, 80) from Nadigam and male (20) from Bohrihallan while Srinagar cases include two male (44, 34) from Soura, female (47) from Nowhatta , male (60) from Buchpora, female (80) from Alamgari Bazar, male (43) from Safakadal, Male (25) from HMT and male (30) from Parray Pora Srg
The Baramulla cases include female (29) from Rafiabad, Male (54) from Singpora , Male (80) from Takisultan while Anantnag ones include Male (70) from Wantnag, Male (60) from KP road and Male (28) from Hardu Toru.

The Kulgam cases include Male (65) from Yaripora and Male (40) from Khandaypora while the cases from Bandipora include female (20) from Shahgund , female (45) from Ashtangoo and Male (17) from Bandipora.

The Rajouri cases include Male (27) from main Rajouri and Male (24) from Dharsari while Kupwara case includes male (65) from Kupwara
The 40 cases from CRPF Battalions include four males (32, NA, 32, 38) from. C.H Bsf Srinagar, male (28) from 61 Bn CRPF , 32 males (31, 49, 38, 39, 39, 40, 26, 34, 39, 46, 34, 36, 40, 37, 29, 47, 34, 40, 38, 42, 42, 39, 51, 53, 26, 45, 41, 30, 29, 32, 32, 34) from CRPF Keegam Shopia, male (21) from Police Station Shopian and two male (40, 35) from 45 Bn CRPF Sumbal.

Dr Riyaz Untoo, Principal SKIMS Bemina, told GNS that out of 395 samples processed at the hospital’s lab, 37 tested positive for COVID-19 and includes 26 from Budgam and Srinagar 11. The other cases were confirmed at CD and Jammu labs.

The Budgam cases include F-55yrs-Beerwah, F-41yrs-Magam, F-28yrs-Bamrada, M-73yrs-Rapoora, Chadoora, F-18yrs-Kutbal Chadoora, F-28yrs-Darambugh Kralpora, M-38yrs-Magam Budgam, F-40yrs-Charari Sharief Main, M-8Months–Charari Sharief Main, 10.F-16yrs–Charari Sharief Main , M-42yrs-Gopalpora Budgam, M-38yrs-Gopalpora, M-26yrs-Shunglipora Khag, F-22yrs-Warihama Beerwah, F-24yrs-Hazarpora Beerwah, M-23yrs-Soibugh, F-33yrs-Chadoora, M-27yrs-Kanipora, M-30yrs-Yachoot Budgam, M-42yrs-Chari Pora, F-30yrs-Soibugh, F-21yrs-Zoogu, F-36yrs-Chechkalan Sebdan, M-30yrs-SP Office Budgam, M-37yrs-Gondipora Berwah and F-38yrs-Sholipora Budgam.

The Srinagar cases include F-80yrs-Aali Kadal, M-26yrs-Tainky Pora, M-30yrs-Bemina, M-45yrs-HMT,
F-70yrs-HMT, M-50yrs-Hyderpora, M-26yrs-Batmaloo, M-57yrs-Jawahir Nagar, M-26yrs-Hyderpora,
M-50yrs-Khaniyar and M-60yrs-Batmaloo.

The CD cases include Male (30) from Stadium Colony, Male (36) from Fatehgarh , Male (60) from Bunglowbagh, Male (41) from Khojabagh , Male (45) from Tawheed Colony, Male (43) from Dewaanbagh, Male (80) from Chichilora, female (55) and male (85) from Pattan, Male (28) from Buran, Male (30) from Hanjiwera, Male (50) from Kachloo Kralgund, Male (32) from Wahipora, Langate, female (29) from Pandithpora, Langate, female (45) from Rambagh , female (60) from Noor Pora Tral, Male (26) from Gousia Colony Baramulla, female (27) from Jalal Sahib Baramulla, Male (65) from Khanpora Baramulla, female (22) from Suhail Colony Baramulla, two Males (45, 32) from Arampora Sopore Baramulla, Male (53) from Dangerpora, Male (30) from Kreeri , female (10) from Sofi Hamam Sopore,
female (40) from Porupeth, three females (27, 70, 47) from Nowpora Sopore, Male (46) from Saloosa Keeri, female (42) from Seeloo Sopore, Male (43) from Chunkipora Sopore, Male (25) from New Colony Sopore, three females (18, 80, 14) and 01 male (13) From Logripora Bomai, Male (35) from Model Town A, male (55) from Jalalabad Sopore, Male (19) from Tujar Sherief, Male (60) from Jamia Qadeem

Moreover, 68 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 20 from Jammu Division and 48 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
