Srinagar, Feb 16 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir reported 58 fresh covid-19 cases, twenty of them travellers, in the last 24 hours, taking the total case tally to 125463, officials said on Tuesday.
Among them, they said, 47 cases were reported in Kashmir Valley and 11 in Jammu division.
Providing district wise details, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 33 cases, Baramulla 4, Budgam 1, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 1, Shopian 0, Jammu 8, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of CD hospital, SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag.
The CD cases include male (90) from Dangerpora Sopore, male (60) from Pulwama, male (60) from Badshahnagar Srg, female (50) from NA, female (72) and male (53) from Lalbazar Srg, female (56) from Tangmarg Baramulla, female (24) from Barbarshah Srg, male (75) from Wadaron Budgam, male (71) from Tral Pulwama, male (60) from Zawoora Shopian, male (75) from Suthsoo Khanda, male (66) from Pulwama.
SKIMS cases include male (50) from Charangam Beerwah, male (68) from Bkpora Gousia Colony Budgam, female (55) from Lalbazar, male (60) from Beerwah Srinagar and male (55) from Sherpora Anantnag.
The GMC Anantnag cases include female (56) from Lazibal, female (55) from Shangus, male (85) from Shopian, male (63) from Teilwan.
Moreover, they said, 46 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—seven from Jammu Division and 39 from Kashmir. So far 122883 people have recovered—50890 in Jammu and 71993 in the valley. Also, there was no fresh death due to the virus reported during the last 24 hours. So far 1951 people of succumbed to the virus—725 in Jammu and 1226 in the Valley. (GNS)
