Uri,Sep.30:(GNS) A L&T machine operator and helper were injured in an accident in Charunda village along the LoC in this border town on Wednesday evening.
Official sources told GNS that the L&T machine rolled down
from the village while it was working on the construction of underground bunkers in the area resulting in injuries to operator and helper.
They were brought to Army medical room at MICK post for first Aid, later both were shifted to SDH Uri for treatment.
“Both have been referred to GMC Baramulla for specialized treatment, ” official sources said.
The injured have been identified as Shafayat Ahmad (Operator) son of Mohammad Yousuf Awan Tanveer Ahmad (Helper) son Mohamnad Arif Awan, both are residents of Daragutlian, Uri.
The residential house of Mohammad Din Jinder and Mohammad Shafi Jinder of Charunda also got damaged.(GNS)
