Srinagar, Jul 27 (GNS): District Magistrate Anantnag on Monday notified Trauma Hospital, Bijbehara as designated hospital for COVID19 positive and suspected pregnant ladies in case of emergency.
An order in this regard, of which a copy lies with GNS, maintains that the (latest) order has came in continuation with the (previous) Government Order number 357-JK (HME) of 2020 dated 04-04-2020.
“No patient (pregnant lady) shall be refused admission or treatment at any point of time or in times of emergency or for whose COVID status is not known”, the order reads.
Chief Medical Officer, Anantanag Block Medical Officer, Bijbehara and Medical Medical Superintendent SDH Bijbehara shall be personally responsible for implementation of order in letter and spirit, the order reads further. (GNS)
