Bandipora, Dec 14(GNS): In a commendable display of coordination and prompt response, soldiers from Army’s 13 RR, Ajas Camp, and Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) successfully averted a potentially devastating fire in Ajas.
Locals said that the timely intervention prevented the flames from spreading further, preventing a major tragedy.
However, a local cowshed owned by Shamsuddin Taidu from Behbal Ajas fell victim to the incident and got completely gutted.
Despite the loss, the locals expressed gratitude to the Soldiers of Ajas Camp of Army’s 13 RR for the swift action that prevented more extensive damage.(GNS)
