Jammu: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a resident of Shopian with two grenades in Rajouri district.
Police sources told GNS that one person identified as Irfan Ahmed Jaral son of Bashir Ahmad Jaral of Rengear Keller of Shopian was arrested from a passenger vehicle near DKG Thanamandi.
‘Two hand grenades and fifteen AK bullets were recovered from his possession,” police said.
When contacted SSP Rajouri Chandan Kohli confirmed the arrest to GNS and said that further investigations have been taken up. (GNS)
