Srinagar, May 06 (GNS): In a series of events, Registrar of Companies, UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh cum Official Liquidator, attached to J&K High Court, Syed Haamid Bukhari in a webinar/video conference with stakeholders and members of ICSI and ICAI local chapters discussed the Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ recently launched schemes ‘Companies Fresh Start Scheme, 2020’ and ‘LLP Settlement Scheme 2020’.

The purpose of this exercise was to increase the outreach among relevant stakeholders and to create awareness about the progressive initiatives taken by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It is the third subsequent event organized by RoC. The event was held online through video conferencing keeping in mind the social distancing norms in the wake of COVID-19.

“Such schemes are first of its kind opportunities to make good any filing related defaults and make a fresh start as a fully complaint entity,” Bukhari said in a statement, adding, “These schemes incentives compliances and reduces compliance burden during unprecedented health crisis caused by COVID-19.”

Bukhari further asked stakeholders that the details of both the schemes may be perused from the circulars issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. (GNS)
