Poonch, Apr 20: (GNS) Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who left a man in hospital with serious injuries after crashing into his foot in Mendhar early Monday morning.
The injured man, a beggar, was spotted by a journalist M S Nazki, who is a Bureau Chief (Jammu) of Global News Service (GNS) and president of Press Council Mendhar, Poonch (PCMP).
The man was taken to Sub District Hospital Mendhar where a team of doctors and paramedics stitched and dressed his injured foot. He is presently admitted in a ward.
Police have registered a case in this regard and started out hunt to nab the driver who has fled.
