Srinagar, Jan 16: (GNS) A police constable and SPO were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday.
Reports reaching to GNS said that the constable Shafqat Ali Khan and SPO Hilal Ahmad Shah were accompanying the former minister and National Conference leader Chowdhury Mohammad Ramzan who had visited Kenyal and Kukroosa areas in connection with the workers meeting.
On returning back to Handwara, the vehicle of police station Villagam turned turtle in which two personnel were injured.
The injured were brought to public health centre (PHC) Villagam where from they were referred to district hospital Handwara for further treatment.
While SPO Hilal Ahmad is undergoing treatment at the hospital and the constable Shafqat Ali has been discharged. (GNS)
