Srinagar, Feb 18(GNS): PAGD candidates were elected as chairperson and Vice Chairperson of DDC in District Ramban and Kishtwar on Thursday.
Officials told GNS that while Dr. Shamshada Shan was elected Chairperson and Mrs. Rabia Beigh was elected Vice Chairperson in Ramban.
NC candidate Puja Devi was elected as chairperson in Kishtwar by bagging eight votes while Congress’s Saima Lone was elected as Vice Chairman.
National Conference is one of the key constituents of PAGD, an alliance formed by six mainstream parties for the restoration of Article 370. Congress reportedly lends outside support to PAGD. (GNS)
