Srinagar, July 2(GNS): A gold item misplaced near Iqbal Park yesterday was recovered and handed over to its owner following swift action by Sher-i-Ghari Police and CRPF personnel.
Officials told GNS that a person had misplaced a gold item near Iqbal Park on Tuesday and filed a complaint at Police Station Sher-i-Ghari.
Police immediately swung into action and, with the assistance of nearby CRPF personnel, recovered the gold item. The valuables were subsequently handed over to the rightful owner.
The prompt response and coordination by the police and CRPF have drawn appreciation from the complainant, who expressed gratitude to SHO Sher-i-Ghari, Inspector Isaaq, for the quick resolution.
Police said such joint efforts highlight their commitment to public service and safety.(GNS)
