Srinagar, Nov 20 (GNS): A 55-year-old man was killed in road accident after hit by a biker in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that a person identified as Ali Mohammad Dar son of Mohammad Abli Dar residence Saraie Dangarpora area of Sumbal was killed after hit by a bike bearing Registration number JK-01T 1537.
The bike driven by one Feroz Ahmad Khandey (45) hails from Ganderbal district, the official said adding that the biker has also received injuries in the incident and was removed to a nearby health facility.
However, as per latest reports, the biker has been referred to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, case has been registered into the incident under relevant sections of law and further investigations taken up, the police official said. (GNS)
