Srinagar: The government on Monday accorded sanction to the payment of monthly honorarium for DDC chairpersons, vice-chairpersons and members.
According an order issued here by Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, the chairperson shall get Rs 35000 per month including Rs 33000 as honorarium, Rs 1500 Travel Allowances and Rs 500 as telephone charges.
The vice-chairperson will get Rs 25000—23000 as honorarium, Rs 1500 TA and Rs 500 telephone charges—while a member will get Rs 15000—13000 as honorarium, Rs 1500 TA and Rs 500 telephone charges— per month.
