JAMMU, OCTOBER 13: Principal Government Medical College Jammu, Dr Nasib Chand Digra today said that the Covid patients are being treated as per prescribed protocol in GMC and Associated Hospitals.
There is adequate supply and stock of Oxygen Cylinders for meeting the requirement, he said and added that nearly one thousand oxygen cylinders have been consumed in the last 24 hours in GMC and its Associated Hospitals.
There are a total 115 patients in GMC, of which 24 are in isolation ward, 15 are in CCU, 27 in ward no 3, 27 in ward no 7 and 22 in HDU. Of these 89 are on oxygen supply and 26 are on the BIPAP facility, he informed further.
He said in Chest Disease hospital all 25 covid patients are on oxygen supply facility. He further informed that one death has been reported in GMC in last 24 hours.
