Srinagar, Mar 12 (GNS): The government on Tuesday assigned the charge of the post of Director, SKIMS to Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed, IAS, Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department in addition to his duties. Also, seven officers were transferred in the interest of administration with immediate effect.
“Consequent upon the retirement on superannuation of Prof. (Dr.) Parvez Koul, Director, SKIMS and ex-officio Secretary to the Govemment, on 08.03.2024 (A.N.) and pending appointment of a suitable candidate against the said post, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed, IAS, Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department is hereby assigned the charge of the post of Director, SKIMS, in addition to his own duties till further orders,” reads a government order.
Meanwhile government ordered with immediate effect the transfer and posting of several JKAS officers.
According to a separate order, Amir Hussain, JKAS, Deputy Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission, has been transferred and posted as Special Oficer, Auqaf, J&K.
Zakir Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Kishtwar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department.
“Phulail Singh, JKAS, Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Kishtwar, shall hold the charge of the post of Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Kishtwar, in addition to his own duties, till further orders,” the order, a separate copy of which lies with GNS, added.
Mohsin Raza, JKAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department, is transferred and posted as District Mineral Officer, Rajouri. 4. Mr. Tariq Ahmad Reshi, JKAS, Sub-Registrar, Sopore, holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Sopore, has been transferred and posted as District Mineral Officer, Anantnag.
“He shall also hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Anantnag, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.”
Showkat Ahmad Bhat, JKAS, District Mineral Officer, Anantnag, holding additional charge of Chief Executive officer, Municipal Council, Anantnag, has been transferred and posted as Sub-Registrar, Sopore. “He shall also hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Sopore, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.”
Mohd. Naseeb, JKAS, District Mineral Officer, Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department.
Majad Jhangir, Special Officer, Auqaf, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission. (GNS)
