Srinagar, Nov 12 (GNS): Unknown gunmen, suspected to be militants, fired upon and injured two outside labourers in Rakh-Momin area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday late evening, police said.
“Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment and the area was cordoned off immediately,” a police official said.
Meanwhile sources identified the injured as Chota Pradas of Gorakhpur Uttar Pradesh and Gobind of Khushinagar UP. Initially, the sources told GNS that the duo was shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara but they were later referred to GMC Anantnag for specialized treatment. (GNS)
