Srinagar, Jan 5 (GNS): Timely action by Fire and Emergency Department Wednesday averted damage to Hotel Oberai Grand Lalit in summer capital Srinagar in the aftermath of a fire incident this afternoon.
Detailing about the incident, an official told GNS that a fire incident happened in the staff quarters of “The Lalit Grand Palace Srinagar” at around 1.10 pm on January 5, 2022.
“The fire was immediately brought under control and prevented from spreading with the fire-fighting equipments installed in the property” the official said adding the fire department was informed immediately who helped in completely dousing the fire.
“There was no injury to anyone, they said adding investigations are on to ascertain the cause of fire”, the official added. (GNS)
