Anantnag, Mar 11 (GNS): Police on Thursday identified teenager whose body was recovered beneath snow in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district yesterday, officials said.
They said that some locals spotted the body near Kapren village of Verinag area of the district and immediately informed the police about it.
Soon a police team reached the spot and recovered the “decomposed” body, the officials told GNS.
They said that a case has been registered and investigations set into motion.
He has been identified as 21-yearr-old Amir Hussain Sheikh son of Abdul Rehman of Phaloo Kulgam who was missing from 20 December last year. (GNS)
