3 minors, 76 travelers among 449 new covid-19 cases in J&K, total 28470

Srinagar, Aug 16 (GNS): 76 travelers and three minors were among 449 covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 28470.

Among them, 100 cases were from Jammu Division and 349 from Kashmir Valley including one female 96 Bn CRPF, two males from Balapora Camp, one BB Cantt besides two-months old baby among three minors.

Giving district-wise details, sources told GNS that Srinagar recorded 129 cases, Baramulla 42, Pulwama 24, Budgam 31, Anantnag 23, Shopian 5, Kupwara 27, Bandipora 43, Ganderbal 25, Jammu 58, Rajouri 6, Kathua 8, Udhampur 3, Samba 8, Doda 3, Poonch 7 and Reasi 7.

In Kashmir, Srinagar continues to top the list with 6915 cases followed by Baramulla with 2429, Pulwama 2053, Budgam 1787, Kulgam 1697, Shopian 1570, Anantnag 1772, Kupwara 1525, Bandipora 1426 and Ganderbal 919.

In Jammu division, Jammu district has 1965 cases, Rajouri 786, Ramban 624, Kathua 663, Udhampur 649, Samba 567, Doda 337, Poonch 328, Reasi 277and Kishtwar 181.

A number of cases were confirmed at CD and SKIMS diagnostic laboratories.
SKIMS cases
The cases from Anantnag include female (50) from Anantnag, male (27) from Kadipora Anantnag, male (68) from Dialgam Anantnag.

The Srinagar cases include two males (19, 25) from Khonmoh, male (22) from Srinagar, male (23) from Bemina, male (31) from Chattabal, male (32) from Alochibagh, male (20) from Hawal, male (40) from Soura, male (23) from Hyderpora, male (17) from HMT, male (32) from Dalgate, male (20) from HMT Omarabad, female (57) from Chotabazaar, male (33) from Bemina, male (22) from Habak, three females (45, 30, 28) from Soura, male (60) from Bagh I Shora, two males (54, 34) from SKIMS, male (44) from Nowshera, male (36) from Hawal, two males (23, 38) from Nowshera, male (66) from Gogji Bagh, male (19) from Buchpora, male (45) from Hafiz Bagh, male (55) from Badshah Nagar, male (54) from Eidgah, male (35) from HMT, two males (31, 66) and female (65) from Lal Bazar, male (65) from Nigeen, female (75) from Sanat Nagar, female (44) from Habak, female (58) from Sidrabal, male (52) from Soura Srinagar.

The Budgam cases include male (16) from Magam, male (29) from Nasrallah Pora, male (22) from Budgam, male (20) from Budgam, three males (30, 43, 26) from Nasrullah Pora, male (55) from Garend Budgam, female (18) and male (70) from Dalipora Nagam, three females (55, 40, 11) and male (09) from Iskenderpora, two females (24, 27) from Haran, male (34) from Naraspora, male (48) from Jnv Khanpora, four females (45, 35, 04, 60) and male (50) from Lakhripora, female (35) from Chadoora, two females (21, 22) from Arizal, male (32) from Budgam, male (58) from Zogipora, female (18) from Shunglipora, male (21) and female (35) from Khag, male (20) from Choon, female (65) from Khanpora, female (11) from Aripanthan, female (28) from Najan, four females (60, 27, 30, 21) and two males (60, 02M) from Charangam, female (68) from Soibugh, two males (23, 44) from Haran Budgam. The Baramulla cases include male (47) from Baramulla, male (70) from Pattan Baramulla. The Bandipora cases include male (37) from Shadipora, two males (30, 20) from Safapora Bandipora. The Kupwara cases include male (25) from Handwara Kupwara. The Pulwama cases include two males (35, 18) from Awantipora, male (25) from Khanmoh Pulwama. The Shopian cases include male (46) from Hupru Shopian.
The Ganderbal cases include female (35) from Kangan, male (75) from Tulmula, male (75) and female (75) from Wakura Ganderbal. The BB Cantt cases include male (16) from BB Cantt Srinagar.

CD cases

Moreover 267 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals–97 from Jammu Division and 170 from Kashmir Valley, they added. (GNS)
