9 troopers among 470 new covid-19 cases, J&K total 114038

Srinagar, Dec 8 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir reported 470 new cases of covid-19 in last 24 hours, taking the number of people infected with the virus to 114038.

Official sources told GNS on Tuesday that 277 were from Jammu Division and 193 from Kashmir Valley. Among them there were nine troopers and four minors.

Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 74, Baramulla 21, Budgam 43, Kupwara 20, Pulwama 10, Anantnag 7, Bandipora 6, Ganderbal 12, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 161, Udhampur 21, Rajouri 24, Doda 13, Kathua 13, Kishtwar 14, Samba 16, Poonch 3, Ramban 9 and Reasi 3.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD and SKIMS hospitals diagnostic laboratories including five troopers from army and four from BSF besides four minors, they said.

The CD cases include male (40) and female (40) from Jawahar Nagar, male (35) from Srinagar, two males (53, 37) from Rawalpora, male (37) from Aalikadal, female (55) from Bemina, male (69) from Hyderpora, male (72) from Tral, female (36) from Srinagar, three males (32, 16, 60) from Nishat Srg, male (60) from Buchpora, male (70) from Natipora, male (40) from Nishat Srg, five males (50, 41, 40, 65, 68) and female (85) from NA, male (70) and female (65) from Chanapora, male (24) from Nowshera, female (NA) from Nishat Srg, female (27) from Sanat Nagar, female (45) from Safakadal, male (02) from Natipora, male (NA) from Batmaloo Srg, male (50) from Srinagar, female (45) from Khansahib Budgam, male (30) from Narbal Srg, male (20) from Rawalpora Srg, male (28) from Nawakadal, female (95) from Rainawari, male (60) from Peerbagh Srg, male (33) from Budshah Nagar Srg, female (55) from Tangdhar Kupwara, male (60) from Handwara Kupwara, male (50) from Khanyar Srg, female (60) from Batpora Baramulla, male (NA) from Tral Pulwama, male (65) from Kralpora Kupwara, female (46) from Baghi Mehtab Srg, female (60) from Shalimar Srg, male (70) from Qamarwari Srg, female (62) from Ganderbal, female (65) from Pulwama, male (58) from Qamarwari, male (28) from Nowpoorah Khayam, female (28) from Nawabazar, female (37) from Alamdar Colony.

The Budgam cases include male (33) and female (42) from Badipora, female (55) from Kherigund, male (42) from Sarband, male (48) and two females (12, 10) from Housing Colony, male (30) from Waripora Kunzer, female (35) from Kurso Padshahibagh, male (60) and two females (24, 34) from Kultreh Chadoora, female (50) and male (25) from Duyen Chadoora, female (27) from Wadipora Chadoora, male (47) from Kralpora Chadoora, male (26) from Hushroo Chadoora, female (28) from Banagund Chadoora, female (05) from Magam, female (70) from Budgam.

The Ganderbal cases include male (48) from Manigam, female (60) from Bamloora, male (22) from Gulab Bagh, male (32) and female (30) from Khalmulla, male (22) from Malshahibagh, female (42) from Illahibagh, male (78) from Dursum, female (80) from Theeru, male (61) and female (18) from Harwan, male (30) from Pandach, male (36) from Buserbug, female (45) from Ajas Ganderbal, male (65) from Pandach, female (03) from Kangan, female (70) from Nagbal Ganderbal, female (65) from Waliwar Lar Ganderbal.

The Srinagar cases include male (34) from Old Airport Jakli, male (56) from Umer Colony Lal Bazar, male (35) from Soura, female (48) and two males (30, 65) from Lal Bazar, male (50) and female (17) from Gulab Bagh, female (59) from Saderbal, female (50) from NA, female (54) from Alamgiri, female (20) from Hawal, male (30) from Rajbagh, female (43) from Soura, male (62) and female (40) from Nowshera, male (14) from Illahibagh, female (56) from Baghi Ali, male (42) from Lal Bazar, female (30) from Bemina, male (34) from Natipora, male (60) from Bemina, female (04) from Natipora, male (45) from Qamarwari, male (60) from Safakadal, male (46) from Khajabagh, male (26) from Qamarwari, two females (20, 50) from Nowshera, male (60) from Lal Bazar, female (11) from Nigeen, male (28) from Soura, male (16) from Nowshera, female (56) from Rainawari, male (35) from Chattabal Srinagar.

The Anantnag cases include male (35) from Sallar Anantnag.

The Baramulla cases include male (31) from Tangmarg Baramulla.

The Pulwama cases include female (30) from Drubgam Pulwama.

The Shopian cases include male (53) and female (15) from Borihallan, male (28) from Gagren, male (67) from S Karewa, male (50) from DPL, male (48) from Shopian, male (25) from Chanchmarg, male (39) from P/L/Reshipora Shopian.

The BB Cantt cases include five males (27, 28, 34, 47, 30) from BB Cantt Srinagar.

The BSF cases include four males (46, 29, 27, 23) from Ch Bsf Humhama Srinagar.

Moreover, they said, 524 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 302 from Jammu Division and 222 from Kashmir. (GNS)
