Four persons shifted to Srinagar for specialized treatment: CMO Budgam

Srinagar, Feb 11 (GNS): At least six passengers sustained injuries after a bus they were travelling in met an accident in Zoorigund area in central-Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday afternoon.

Reports reaching GNS said that a passenger bus bearing Registration number JK-01C 8138, on way from Srinagar met an accident, resulting in injuries to at least six persons.

The injured persons have been identified as; Habibullah Mir son of Mohammed Subhan resident of Sunargund, Ruksana Gul daughter of Ghulam Muhammad Lone, resident of Chatroo Dangerpora, Hafeeza Bano wife of Nazir Ahmad Bandro, a resident of Banderpora, Aisha Bano wife of Nazir Ahmad Danda resident of Khansahib, Bashir Ahmad Dar Son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar resident of Arampora and Younis Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmad Bandroo resident of Banderpora.

Confirming the mishap, CMO Budgam Dr. Tajamul told GNS that six persons have sustained injuries in the incident.

“Four persons have been referred to Srinagar, three to Bone & Joint Hospital Barzulla and one to SMHS Hospital for specialized treatment”, the official said.

Quoting hospital authorities, the official further said that “all of the injured persons are said to be responding well to the treatment as of now.” (GNS)
