Srinagar, Jun 6 (GNS): District administration Shopian on Saturday sealed fifty-three shops in Wachi Zainapora over purported violation of lockdown orders.
“The opening of shops is a flagrant violation to the lockdown guidelines and as such it was imperative on us to serve a deterrent message to one and all”, Naib-Tehsildar Wachi told GNS.
“We urge public to restrict their movement and strictly follow the lockdown guidelines to help us contain the spread of the infection,” adding, “anyone found in contravention of the orders will be dealt with sternly.”
Pertinent to mention here, that the step was taken on the directions of Tehsildar Zainapora Fida Mohammad Bhat.(GNS)
