523 New Cases, Tally Crosses 17000-Mark In J&K

34 CRPF Men, 12 Minors, 3 Doctors Among New Infections; 300 patients Discharged

Srinagar, July 25: 88 travelers, at least 34 CRPF personnel and twelve minors were among 523 new covid-19 infections in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, taking the overall tally past 17000-mark in J&K.   

Officials said that among them, 156 were reported from Jammu division and 367 from Kashmir Valley including seven army men, three pregnant women and as many doctors.  Also 300 patients recovered and were discharged from various hospitals in J&K. 

Giving the district-wise breakup, officials sources told GNS that Srinagar reported 145, Baramulla 18, Kulgam 6, Shopian 11, Pulwama 62, Bandipora 30, Ganderbal 9, Jammu 66, Kathua 27, Rajouri 16, Udhampur  2, Ramban 9, Samba 2, Poonch 4, Kishtwar 10 and Reasi  2.

 At least 163 infections were confirmed at SKIMS Soura along with considerable cases at CD hospital laboratories.

The Anantnag cases include male (45) from Vessu, male (70) from Anantnag, male (NA) from Achabal, male (40) from Anantnag, five males (49, 46, 38, 43, 34) from Ird 17 Bn Anantnag, male (49) from Bijbhera, male (55) from Batpora, female (65) from Vailoo, female (26) from Mattan, male (65) from Budroo, male (24) from Krangsoo, male (25) from Khatir, male (55) from Brakpora, male (29) from C Watrigam, female (39) from Gopalpora Kalan, two males (57, 55) from Bijbhera, male (47) from Khalhar, female (32) from Janglatmandi, male (70) from Magam Kokernag, female (40) from Sarnal Bala, male (24) from Krangsoo Anantnag, male (24) from Anchidora Anantnag.
