4-Month-Old Baby Among 696 New Cases In J&K, Total 35831

Srinagar, August 28 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir on Friday reported 696 new covid-19 cases including 106 travelers, a month old baby and two others besides six soldiers  and seven CRPF men, taking the tally to 35831.

Sources told GNS that among the cases, 202 were reported from Jammu Division while 494 from Kashmir Division. 

Giving district wise breakup,  they said, Srinagar reported 194 cases, Baramulla 40, Pulwama 57, Budgam 59, Anantnag 31, Bandipora 30, Kupwara 25, Kulgam 11, Shopian 9, Ganderbal 38, Jammu 109, Rajouri 8,

Kathua 27, Udhampur 23, Samba 9, Ramban 1, Doda 6, Poonch 8, Reasi 5 and Kishtwar 6.

A number of cases were confirmed at CD and SKIMS diagnostic laboratories, they said.  

The CD cases include four females (60, 40, 38, 10) and two males (05, 40) from Malangpora, male (50) from Awantipora, male (26) from Chanchmarg, male (45) and two females (35, 12) from Malik Gund, NA (06) from Malik Gund, male (NA) from Bandipora, male (NA) from Chadoora, female (NA) from Baramulla, female (27) from Rawalpora, female (35) from Bemina, male (35) from Gow Kadal, female (62) from Lal Bazar, female (45) from Srinagar, male (30) from Sanat Nagar, female (40) from Oori, female (50) from Moominabad Srinagar, female (22) and male (55) from Brein Nishat, male (77) Chattabal, female (35) from Bemina, female (65) from Kanipora, female (85) from Nawakadal, male (37) from Bemina, male (35) from Singpora BLA, two males (4M, 28) and two females (60, 32) from Buchpora Srg, male (75) from Hajin Bandipora, male (62) from Gow Kadal Srg, female (63) from Nasrullapora, female (16) and male (NA) from Arizal Budgam, female (NA) from Tengpora Srg, female (NA) from Srinagar, male (50) from Rampora Mattan, male (29) from Boniyar Baramulla, female (70) from Uri Baramulla, male (30) from Tangmarg Baramulla, female (60) from Panzoo, female (24) from Gunsoo, two females (45, 40) from Qasbi Yaar, male (28) from Litter, male (30) from Panzgam, male (23) from Soaf, male (22) from Latroo Ashmuqam, two males (35, 52) from Ashmuqam, female (NA) from Kairen Kupwara, male (70) from Soura, male (NA) and female (45) from Chanapora, two females (19, 18) and two males (18, 16) from Aglar, female (30) from Trenzz, three males (37, 24, 41) from Chanchmarg, male (32) from Borihalan, male (44) from Zewan Srg, female (65) from Buchpora Srinagar.

SKIMS Cases include male (60) from Shangus, male (60) from Kokernag, female (13) from Larnoo Anantnag, male (44) from Kokernag Anantnag.

The Srinagar ones include male (54) from Nowpora, female (32) from Lalbazar, female (30) from Mallabagh, female (36) from Alamgiri Bazar, female (40) from Baghi Mehtab, male (29) from SKIMS, male (02) from Bemina, female (32) from Illahibagh, male (26) and female (23) from Khanyar, female (13) from Hawal, female (26) from Saidakadal, male (35) from Illahibagh, female (40) from Alamgiri Bazar, male (40) from Batamaloo, female (52) from Chattabal, male (40) from Panthachowk, female (23) from Rainawari, female (70) from Hawal, male (60) from Rawalpora, female (60) from Elahibagh, female (35) from Chattabal, male (62) from Teilbal Srinagar.

The Bandipora cases include male (38) from Gurez Bandipora.

The Ganderbal cases include female (26) from Haran, female (44) and male (28) from Guzarpora, male (62) from Haran, female (30) from Fatehpora, female (66) from Manasbal, male (60) from Haran Ganderbal.

The Baramulla cases include male (32) from Waripora Baramulla.

The Kupwara cases include five males (36, 22, 36, 23, 25) from Zangli Kupwara, three females (25, 25, 18) from Baghbella, female (50) from Hajinar, female (45) from Nachiyan, male (30) from Kandi, female (45) and male (30) from Awoora, female (45) from Padergund Kupwara.

The BB Cantt cases include six males (31, 35, 40, 34, 25, 49) from BB Cantt Srinagar.

The CRPF cases include two males (43, 31) from 144 Bn Crpf Nehru Park Srg, two males (26, 30) from Gc Crpf Rambhagh Srg, three males (42, 30, 28) from 132 Bn Crpf Sanat Nagar Srinagar.

Meanwhile, 651 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 195 from Jammu Division and 456 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
