41 Security Personnel Among Infected, 452 More Patients Discharged

Srinagar, Sept 13 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir reported 1686 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking its count to 54096, official said on Sunday.

It is second highest day spike in the covid-19 cases in J&K. Also, it is for the eleventh consecutive day that daily caseload has exceeded one thousand.

With 116 travelers among them, official sources told GNS 875 cases were from Jammu and 811 from Kashmir Valley including 21 cases from army, 11 from CRPF and eight from BSF.

Giving breakup of the cases, they said Srinagar reported 185, Budgam 158, Baramulla 79, Pulwama 44,
Anantnag 47, Kupwara 62, Bandipora 128, Kulgam 22, Ganderbal 78, Shopian 8, Jammu 405, Udhampur 56, Rajouri 70, Kathua 48, Samba 29, Poonch 79, Ramban 31, Doda 94, Reasi 18 and Kishtwar 45.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD and SKIMS diagnostic laboratories.

The Kulgam cases include male (28) from DH Pora Kulgam.

The Budgam cases include female (34) from Narkarah, male (40) from Namthal, female (25) from Sogam, male (17) and female (45) from Panzan, female (25) from Labertal, male (29) from Ichgam, two males (43, 12) from Hewader, female (17) from Beerwah, female (39) from Pakharpora Mohanpora, female (17) from Hanjik, male (47) from Shariefabad, male (62) from Chattergam Kuzvera, male (75) from Near Imambada Sumerbug, female (13) from BK Pora Rakh Shalina, male (14) from Gousia Colony Kanipora Budgam, female (48) from Kanipora Budgam.
The Pulwama cases include eleven males (47, 51, 27, 38, 31, 36, 28, 27, 32, 24, 25) from Awantipora Pulwama, male (42) from Chandrigam Tral, female (50) from Zadoora Pulwama.

The Baramulla cases include male (38) from Arampora Pattan, male (23) from Tangmarg, male (65) from Sopore, male (48) from Pattan Baramulla.

The Bandipora cases include male (35) from Hajin, female (41) from Madwan Bandipora.
The Ganderbal cases include male (45) from Gadoora Ganderbal.

The Kupwara cases include male (27) from Trehgam, three males (22, 40, 22) from Panzgam, male (33) from Villgam, female (11) and male (07) from Kukroosa, male (55) from Chogal, male (33) from Magam Kupwara.

The Jammu cases include male (46) from Pujwani Jammu, male (48) from Shivenaghar, male (42) from Lowertop Akhnoor Jammu.
The BB Cantt cases include male (28) from BB Cantt Srinagar.

The BSF cases include eight males (45, 29, 29, 28, 31, 42, 27, 37) from Ch Bsf Humhama Srinagar.

The CRPF cases include six males (27, 37, 38, 40, 55, 28) from CCC RTC Humhama Budgam, male (39) from 61 Bn Crpf Shivpora Srg, male (31) from 118 Bn Crpf Sonwar Srg, male (49) from RTC-4 Crpf Humhama Budgam, two males (37, 24) from 35 Bn Crpf Humhama Budgam.

Moreover, they said, 452 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 146 from Jammu Division and 306 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
