1013 Fresh Cases Take J&K Covid-19 Tally To 44570

Srinagar, Sept 07 (GNS): With 1013 covid-19 cases including 87 travelers reported in last 24 hours, Jammu and Kashmir has seen more than a thousand infections for the fifth day in a row on Monday.

Among the fresh cases, 413 are from Kashmir Valley and 600 from Jammu division, taking the overall tally to 44570.

Giving district-wise break of the cases, official sources told GNS that Srinagar reported 136, Baramulla 31, Pulwama 40, Budgam 56, Anantnag 40, Bandipora 31, Kupwara 38, Kulgam 3, Shopian 10, Ganderbal 28, Jammu 442, Rajouri 12, Kathua 21, Udhampur 32, Samba 22, Ramban 1, Doda 13, Poonch 41, Reasi 15 and Kishtwar 1.

Among the infected include three pregnant woman, 33 from BB Cantt here,12 CRPF, two minors besides an IAS officer of J&K cadre.

Official sources a number of cases were confirmed from SKIMS and CD hospital laboratories.

The Srinagar cases include three males (23, 31, 21) from Mohsinabad Bemina, male (67) from Barzulla, female (65) from Dalgate, female (23) from Soura, female (45) from Buchpora, male (55) from SKIMS, male (54) from Nishat, female (83) from Nehru Park, male (75) from Baghi Mehtab, female (35) from Lal Bazar, female (35) and male (30) from Soura, three males (54, 45, 30) from Lal Bazar, female (20) and male (24) from Mirakshan Colony, female (27) from Soura, male (45) from SKIMS, female (21) from Shalimar, male (80) from Rainawari, female (53) from Habbak, female (30) from SKIMS, female (50) from Dalgate, male (37) from Soura, male (70) from Naseem Bagh, female (45) from Gulab Bagh, male (63) from Lal Bazar, female (65) from Gulshan Bagh Srinagar.

The Pulwama cases include male (49) from Ping Pulwama.

The Budgam cases include female (35) from Riyar, male (70) from Kokerbagh, male (30) from Iskanderpora, two males (35, 05) and four females (35, 35, 28, 06) from Malpora Khag, male (33) from JK Bank Khag, male (10) from Hanjibugh, female (58) from Yagipora Magam, female (57) from Hashroo Chadoora, two females (23, 50) from Najan, male (28) from Badipora Budgam, male (72) from Ari Pathan, male (60) from Wahapora Budgam.

The Kulgam cases include female (60) from Devsar, male (75) from Qazigund, female (50) from Kulgam.

The Bandipora cases include female (20) from Shadipora Bandipora.

The Ganderbal cases include male (70) from Ganderbal.

The Ramban cases include male (45) from Batoot Ramban.

The CRPF cases include male (34) from 35 Bn Crpf Humhama Budgam, ten males (38, 31, 45, 37, 52, 52, 50, 32, 29, 56) from 75 Bn Crpf Zakura Srinagar, male (42) from 54 Bn Crpf Nishat Srinagar.

Meanwhile, 433 patients—69 from Jammu and 364 from Valley—have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals in J&K, they added. (GNS)
