Pulwama, May 17: (GNS) Hundreds of households here in Arampora Tral area are living without amenities including shortage of electricity and water supply amid dilapidated road conditions.
A delegation of locals told GNS that despite time to time appraisals, the authorities concerned are yet to budge, putting the local populace into huge inconvenience.
“The shortage of water supply, erratic electricity schedule with shabby road conditions are collectively giving a tough time to the villagers”, they said adding that “Even the Back to Village (B2V) Programmes conducted on two instances haven’t yielded anything.”
“The roads are so shabby that it gets inundated even at the slightest downpour, impeding the movement of vehicles and commuters”, they said.
“The frequent power cuts and acute shortage of drinking are making the things worse for hundreds of households in the village”, they said.
We are being deprived of the basic facilities even as having brought it issue into notice of the authorities concerned on several occasions.
Reiterating their appeal, the delegation members urged the authorities to look into their genuine grievances to redress them on a fastrack basis as to alleviate their sufferings. (GNS)
