Anantnag, July 23 (GNS): Authorities demolished the houses of two terrorists in Anantnag district, a day after cop Ashiq Hussain Qureshi was killed in a terrorist attack.
Official sources told GNS that the new house of Adil Ahmad Thoker, a LeT terrorist and resident of Guri, Anantnag, was completely destroyed today.
In another action during the intervening night, the single-storey residential house of Haroon Rashid Ganai was demolished. Haroon, son of Abdul Rashid Ganai and a resident of Hassanpora Tawella, Bijbehara, is an active terrorist affiliated with the LeT outfit since 2018.
The demolition was carried out jointly by Police, 01 RR and 90 Bn CRPF.
The action comes in the aftermath of Wednesday’s terrorist attack in which cop Ashiq Hussain Qureshi was killed. (GNS)
